Yes, Brutus might have, but it couldn't have been him for a very simple reason, he was in Rome at the time, which was probably several days' journey away. > > Actually, I have to say that Amarice, Joxer and Eli were all pretty brave > > in this ep - stealing the Romans' guarded victims from just outside their > > fort was a very high-risk occupation. I also thought Amarice and Eli were very well acted in those scenes (even though I don't care for Eli and cheered when Amarice tore a strip off him ;) cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. E.g., the "Eye of Hephaestus" was destroyed, as I recall, by Herc in one of his anti-Ares acts (I believe it was on one of his visits to Ares' Halls of War). And why is it Xena's descendant that has to release him? D'ya suppose Eli's boss has something to do with *that* too? There is a villainess, "Callista," with very short blond hair. Okay, she is not as small framed as Hudson. (But how many are?) She is dressed in a skimpy green outfit. And she speaks with an thick OZ accent. But still! It's tough to plead coincidence. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! (Found it while searching for times of reruns of that surreal masterpiece, "Pete&Pete.") The acting pool being so small, all of the adults I saw on the show, seem to have done stints on X:WP or Herc. Haven't seen all of one episode, yet. But it seems nice enough and sweet, but in a non-treacle sort-of way. Eve is a high school student who talks to the camera and seems to have several fantasy sequences an episode. Saw a funny bit where she imagines she and her Maori boyfriend starring in "The Piano." Looks like it was filmed on the same beach. Oh, and this teenage actress doesa great raised eyebrow thing, too! Must be some sort of female genetic N.Z. gift. ;~) ************************************************************************* *************************** "Always keep your bowler on in times of stress and watch out for diabolical masterminds." - --EMMA PEEL ************************************************************************* *************************** ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
