"Good ON yuh", as the Kiwis say. I had thought all 3-- Raimi, Campbell \&/ Tapert-- were Jewish, and I am relieved to be wrong. Somehow, 'dissing by insiders' is a different kind of thing. It's like racial epithets such as Kike, Dago, Hunkie, and the like... they can be used \within/ groups, but coming from the outside, they're "fightin' words". I've even heard, unbelievably, "He ain't \black/, he's a NIGGER". Oooooffff! I can't find it now, but if someone could send me the recently-posted URL that accesses the page of the script where Shannon's eyes open just before the end, I'd appreciate it. It m-i-g-h-t shed some light on whether the scene is supposed to represent something that actually happens, or is just Scully's nightmare. Also, if you still have the ep on tape, see if \you/ hear what \I/ hear. It's at the very end when the baby waves its hand-- the mobile remains still as a haunting chord builds suspensefully until the screen goes to black with the words "Executive producer / Chris Carter"... accompanied by the soft little squeak of the mobile rotating! Meanwhile, did that 'failed' physical exam seem pointless to anybody else? Why didn't Shannon just submerse herself in the bathtub and grin that great LL grin up thru the water at Scully! Cheesh! And we thought X:WP had a lotta YAXIs! ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. S/he has tied some money making scheme to Sword and Staff by claiming part of the profits will go to S&S. This person is not, and never has been, associated with Sword and Staff in any way, and the woman he talks about who is supposedly making donations to Sword and Staff does not exist. Please remember that NO ONE should approach you about sending money to Sword and Staff. As anyone who has been active in S&S knows, Sword and Staff does not take donations. So please be careful about anyone representing themselves as being from S&S, and be particularly wary if they are asking for money, promising money, or trying to involve you in schemes like this one. Rule of thumb: If it didn't come from me, it isn't associated with S&S. I guess this is the surprise Sharon was talking about. She got her hair cut (I'd say trimmed) but no change of color. It made her look very yound I thought. She will be on Hot Ticket this weekend. If you are looking for it on your local station try Zap2it. I used the search engine and much to my surprise it's on a my local station on Saturday afternoon. I would never have known. It's hosted by Leonard Maltin my favorite film critic. Back when I first got a computer (mid-80's) and got the internet you could e-mail Maltin with questions and he always answered me very promptly and was very nice. I've had a soft spot for him ever since. He is an excellant movie scholar and I look forward to seeing his show. Just found this link on Yahoo to E! Online. Xena Preggers! Don't tell Gabrielle, but Xena's expecting a little warrior princess--or prince--of her own. Lucy Lawless, and her producer husband, Rob Tapert, are expecting another child, Lawless' publicist, Leah Krantzler, confirmed Tuesday. The sex of the child was not announced. Lawless, 33, is due in late April or early May, Krantzler says. She and Tapert (who produced Xena) already have a two-year-old son named Julius. Lawless also has a 13-year-old daughter, Daisy, from her first marriage. Lawless most recently appeared on the two-part season premiere of The X-Files (news - Y! TV) as a genetically altered super soldier. Although show producers initially said the role could be a recurring one--and the plot definitely left open the possibility of a return--her publicist says the actress won't be back. Of course, the New Zealand-born Lawless will forever be known as Xena--Warrior Princess. The syndicated hit went out in a bloody blaze of glory after six seasons. In a finale still being debated by irate fans, Lawless' femme-hero was shot with arrows and beheaded--instead of riding off into the sunset with galpal Gabrielle, as some had hoped. It's been something of a baby boom in the ancient kingdom. Xena's former battle buddy Hercules celebrated a birth of his own earlier this year. In August, Kevin Sorbo's wife, Sam, delivered their first child, a little he-man named Braeden. ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Yes, much to my surprise, I found it too, after ET mentioned it would be on this weekend. I'm in Chicago and get ET on CBS. I checked Saturday and found Hot Ticket listed on CBS at 1:30. I didn't do a TV Guide search yet, so can't confirm that this is when Lucy is hosting, but it seems like a good bet. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
