Can anyone recall >what that scene was about? - --Don Frozina, who writes the Credits Guide, used that as his tagline. I think it was "You're getting obsessive about this"? As far as I remember, she was watching TV and eating and Peter? comes in making some comment about the situation, and then she says "you're getting obsessive about this", but in a light-hearted way. Believe me, I watched that movie several times when I first got hooked on XWP, and I could *never* stop myself from *falling asleep*, no matter how much I tried! ;( It's *very* slow-moving, and LL's lines amount to a total of *2 mins.*, tops, and they are pretty spread-out, so you hafta keep your attention going for a *looooong* time. ;( I think LL's lines are something like, "To so-and-so, our friend", and "You're getting obsessive about this", and that's about it!! ;=( In fact, I think it was pretty amazing that she was spotted then to move on to bigger things. ;P You also hafta listen *very closely* to her lines to understand them, because she uses a pretty heavy NZ accent, even more so than in Peach IMO, so they're hard to understand. ;( Just MO, - --Jackie ****************************************************** * Proud to have the same birthday as Lucy Lawless! * * * * "I think New Zealand geographically comes from * * ... I get used peanuts - --Just FYI, I taped all S2 and S3 for a friend in Utah, and used both First Class and Priority Mail, and both ways got the stuff there quite fine all the time, for two years. I'd suggest using First Class if it's just one tape; more than that, Priority is cheaper. So a single tape, depending on the weight of your packaging, will only be about $2.41 or $2.64 for postage. Many folks think Priority is better, but if you look at the read-out screen at the P.O., they list _both_ First Class and Priority together, meaning if the weight is over 13 oz., it will automatically go Priority, but if under, it will go First Class. And the delivery time is only different by about 1-2 days between the two rates. And this is true for all *50* states, including Hawai'i and Alaska. ;=) Of course, international mail is another story....;( Lilli wrote: >Do you all have any suggestions? Yeah, but the selling point for me is that the priority box from the post office is free so the TOTAL cost of packaging and mailing is $3.50. I haven't come across a video box up here that only cost about a dollar--it's closer to $2 each, plus the first class shipping cost. So using the priority box saves the person you're taping for about a dollar. Yeah, the difference isn't much, but then you always get the priority speed. The post office also has a free priority box that will hold two videos. > > Many folks think Priority is better, but if you look at the read-out > screen at the P.O., they list _both_ First Class and Priority together, > meaning if the weight is over 13 oz., it will automatically go > Priority, but if under, it will go First Class. It takes about a week or so to get first class letters between the smaller cities of the east coast and here. Even express mail takes longer--whenever you pay for the Post Office's "Guaranteed overnight express mail" service up here, they will tell you at the counter, "That takes two days, to get there ya know." And priority mail is in line behind the express mail for boarding privileges. And then first class mail. After that, it's the barges and weeks of sailing. Grin. > Of course, international mail is another story....;( Yeah, what surprised me was one week I sent out two tapes on the same day. And the tape to New Zealand arrived before the one to California did! I've also had very good luck with getting tapes quickly to the west coast of Canada, but not the eastern one nor the middle of the country. KT PS I would also recommend to anyone who starts doing a lot of taping that they charge an extra dollar or so and buy themselves a rewinder with the money. That really saves wear and tear on your vcr heads and motors. I used to do just fine with one vcr and no rewinder--and then I got into Xena... ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. "The Rule of Law". Remember crucifiction was used for non-citizens, and even they got what passed for a "fair" trial. Roman citizens were beheaded and actually had some sort of appeals process. By todays standards, not much of a distinction, but a major advance at the time.
