Great song - I think it has the potential to do excellently, and even better is the fact that the Tragically Hip acted as her backup band for the track. It's a Kingston tour-de-force! :) "Men With Brooms" is the forthcoming Canadian feature written and directed by and starring "Due South"'s Paul Gross. It's about curling. And Leslie Neilsen is in it. But don't let that scare you off. ;) Many of you will already have seen the trailer in the theatres, and while it does have the look of a CBC-TV movie (and I mean that in the *nicest* way, really ;)), it seems charming, and hopefully will be that rare Canadian movie that does well. The soundtrack features new music from Paul Gross himself (is there anything the man *can't* do?!), Holly McNarland (new album finally coming soon!), and Vancouver's excellent Pepper Sands, plus previously released material from the usual Canadian suspects like Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good Band, and Big Sugar. (In other Sarah news, she's headed off on a tour of Europe and Australia, plus the new video for "Weakened State", featuring tour footage she shot herself during last summer's BNL tour, is up on her website now.) - - Tab :) _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx ------------------------------ End of canadian-music-digest V5 #2 **********************************
