I just joined this list last night. I'm from Fredericton, NB. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but I think there is a need out there for a website totally devoted to Canadian Tourdates. I am in the process of creating a webpage like that right now, but it's not easy. I don't have a url for it yet but if anyone wants to help out with this project either through providing tourdates or with the site design, please feel free to email me (serious people only). If anyone is in band or runs a label, I would really appreciate getting in contact with you so I can add your tour dates to the database. I also need people who act like a contact for a city. So you would basically fill me in on any bands that are coming to your town or city, and then I could add that city to the database. Big cities and small cities welcome! This website is going to try and focus on indie bands, but major label bands are welcome as well. Also bands dont have to be Canadian, but if they are coming to canada or are touring with Canadian bands, then their tourdates will be added as well. If people help with the production of this website they will get a free subscription to Velocity Magazine. Btw, this is a non-profit, non-corporate thing. Bye for now!
