On Saturday, May 8th @ 8:00 p.m. Linda Shumas Admission: $12 adult, $8 s/s Pianist-composer Shumas performs on piano and harpsichord with the recently formed period-instrument ensemble The Quantz Trio. The other members of the trio are: Cory Clemens - baroque & classical flute; and ` Axeff Janos Ungvary - baroque recorder. Violist Joe Nadurata is a featured guest. Works performed will include those by Rameau, Couperin, Quantz, Telleman, Bach, Debussy, Hindemith, and Shumas. Starting next Tuesday, May 11th, and running until Sunday, May 16th will be performances of "City Quake," by the Creativity Cave theatre company. Admission: $13 "This bold, contemporary drama breathes life into the city of Toronto (a.k.a. T.O.) - a complex lover - the central character in this romantic urban entanglement. Orphelia, the gritty but wounded heroine, makes a date with T.O. to gain resolution and clarity around their changing relationship. Their subway ride is musically charged with stories and memories.
