The second Toronto date did have one of the best lineups imho, it was great! Speaking of Lilith, the press conference is on Tuesday, April 27th! Let's cross our fingers for a solid number of Canadian dates! If you could put 110% into something, Simeon would; everthing he has goes into each song, ever night. But famous, well, they're famous to me :-) > They really *are* playing them a lot. But as cool as Nicole is, it > all just sounds like Veruca Salt to me. ;-P Yes, why yes, it does. BUT ;-) The Bob Rock Veruca Salt, and SP, predates that by at least a year, maybe two. :-) VS always loved the very big guitars, but until Bob Rock, never shows those stripes. Scratching Post had other origins than the Breeders/Pixies + early 80's rock ala Wendy and Lisa + late 70's metal. Nicole Hughes Rocks My World! ;-P James. P.S. Tabs! Missed you at Suzie today! ========================================================================== James McGarry | jmcgarry@UoGuelph.CA - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- An artist should be fit for the best society and keep out of it. - - John Ruskin ========================================================================== ------------------------------ End of canadian-music-digest V2 #77 ***********************************
