I had no one else (you'd think [my fellow] journalism students would care about this kind of thing, but you'd be sadly mistaken ;-P) to share the good news with, so in case you guys didn't hear, CBC's media guild has struck a deal just before today's noon deadline, so there will (thankfully) be no strike. Which means no endless reruns of Air Farce (although that wouldn't be all that bad ) on CBC-TV, and no continuous loop of baroque classics on CBC Radio. ;-) It's just too bad that due to the ongoing technicians' strike, RadioSonic won't be going to Austin this weekend to cover South By Southwest live. :-( And there are so many Canadians there this year, too! Darn. Anyhow, I'm hoping the technical side comes to an agreement soon, too, 'cause the hockey's looking pretty sad these days, and my old fave The National is a mess - even poor Peter M. looks like he's lost his makeup/hair (what hair?!) person or something. Yikes. - - Tab :) Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Mar 1999 14:56:10 PST From: "Tabassum Siddiqui" Subject: Re: Rufus Wainwright and Steve Ito :) Schmoo ;P wrote: >Rox wrote: >>And in other news...I had a dream that involved Steve Ito last >>night.
