James. P.S. I noticed a lot of red lighting in the pics, I wonder if Tom has a red rider? ;-) Oh, that was soooo bad! :-) ========================================================================== James McGarry | jmcgarry@UoGuelph.CA - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- An artist should be fit for the best society and keep out of it. - - John Ruskin ========================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Mar 1999 16:04:49 PST From: "Tabassum Siddiqui" Subject: Re: Say it ain't so! Just because you happen to get into Emm's performance or music more doesn't mean anything except that *you* happen to like it better. And that's great, because she's wonderful. And if you don't like Melanie, or can't get into her stuff, that's okay, too. But I don't see any reason to endlessly compare the two. If you don't, say so! It's a great thing. :) Oh, and I should probably mention, I don't *know* Kim that well or anything - I used to drop by the Edge studios all the time after class when they were on Yonge street whenever an artist I liked happened to be on "Live in Toronto". So I used to chat with Kim sometimes after the shows and stuff. As a journalism student with an interest in the arts/music, I just thought she was a good media role model, very connected and knowledgeable (and nice and approachable, too, which is sadly a rare thing in the media/music biz in this town). >>That could alway she from erroneous/dated facts in the group's >>bio/presskit.
