Darryl Neudorf is demanding co-authorship credit for four songs on the album. McLachlan, who plans to testify, has acknowledged working with Neudorf on the album, but denied his role was big enough to warrant the songwriting credit that would also bring royalty payments. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Nov 1998 19:41:34 PST From: "Tabassum Siddiqui" Subject: Re: (OAC) Esthero Concert Nikki wrote: >First off, if any of you out there haven't seen Esthero, do it >now!!! No, that's not it. Haven't you heard? He wasn't too into doing the live thing and going on the road, so he's out of the band now. I think he will still be doing the producing and recording and some writing for the group, so I think he is still actually "with the group Esthero", so to speak, but I'm not positive. That's all I've heard so far... >I think the best highlight of the night was, when I had the chance >to meet Esthero. I got her to autograph my c.d. which she She's really sweet and bubbly, and while she's on stage, it's so hard to believe she's only like 20, but when you actually talk to her, it's more readily apparent. :) I have to just say, Esthero's album, 'Breath From Another', has really grown on me. It's kinda "out there" in terms of its hybrid trip-hop/jazz/pop-rock sound, but I really do recommend it. - - Tab :) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of canadian-music-digest V1 #118 ************************************
