Kevin Fox news Heya Kids, What a wonderful perfect day... Sarah just about 150m from where I work. I _walked_, _strolled_ even to this one :-) An _interesting_ set: (1) Me & Jerome (2) Bonnie's Song (3) Playing Cards with Judas (4) Hi (aka No Name - she didn't introduce it this time) (5) I Fell (I guess I just missed this from the last time)* (6) Bulletproof (Radiohead cover) (7) Weight (8) Narcolepsy Weed (9) Universe Now it wasn't like Hillside where the very clouds took heed of Sarah's "...sunshine..." and parted, but things were noticeably brighter after the gig than before. It went from an ok day to a beautiful day. I'd never heard the Bulletproof cover and was decidedly impressed. And "I Fell" a relatively new one was *smack* muy bueno (molto buono for you Gianny!), losing none of its power in the daylight hours. Overall the show went well, the crowd polite and for our University Centre _very_, almost eerily quiet. People stopped and paid attention. This bodes well for Sarah. I got _many_, "..who _is_ that"'s today! :-) I would have to say she made a good impression in this little berg! :-) :-) Kevin Fox news, a sly comment leads me to hint that a solo work might be out early next year. Hunger for it people! Get drooly! All accounts suggest Very Good Things! Look for a tour soon as well, maybe with another local singer/songwriter. Fans of Sarah's backup singer Jennifer Foster *sigh* will be happy to know she has an album of her own coming out sometime soon produced by, well, I won't say who, but I _will_ say I know who cuts his hair :-) :-) :-) Which should be enough for people "in the know". Have a good night! James. P.S. Now I know how Mr. Ito felt when she was playing Oasis and the Freetimes! Just strollin' on down... :-) :-) Show number 24! The next is the big 2-5! :-) I should get a badge or something :-) LOL! ========================================================================== James McGarry | jmcgarry@UoGuelph.CA - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- An artist should be fit for the best society and keep out of it. - - John Ruskin ========================================================================== * Reverb, Thursday Oct 1. 1998. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Oct 1998 12:21:41 -0500 From: Steve I Subject: Re: Your Tax Dollars at Work!
