Technically it's '96, it did one showing at the Toronto Film Festival in Sept '96. I'm not sure its available on video release yet, there are still some places where its in theatrical release... um... just this summer in the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway... ...It might be some time before it makes it to video, given, the subject matter and the potential audience.... ...you're right about the soundtrack though, very nice. Nettwerk seems to be doing a very good job with soundstracks. Actually Canada in general, Plumtree have appeared on a recent soundtrack, th Rheostatics did Whale music, while we're on the topic of Canadian music and sound tracks :-) Great film; great soundtrack. And look for COAL this spring on the soundtrack too and in the movie The Widower. Looks cool! Looks Rad! And that oh-so-Canadian flik Hard Core Logo, who's soundtrack is a virtual who's who in Canadian music... :-) ginger, they seem to have dropped off the planet, huh? Nettwerk has them listed in their "Retired Artists" section... ...but hey, you can still download the EPK for Far Out at: http://www.chumcity.com/muchmusic/downloads/ipks.html James. ========================================================================== James McGarry | jmcgarry@UoGuelph.CA - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- An artist should be fit for the best society and keep out of it. - - John Ruskin ========================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Oct 1998 12:12:52 -0700 From: April Subject: Re: Ginger Question hey guys! i've never posted here before but why not start! i just have a few comments about the movie "kissed". > in addition, is the movie Kissed (a Canadian film from 1997 with a great > > soundtrack featuring Tara, Ginger, Delierium, etc.) available anywhere. > > Can't seem to locate here in the states. you can order it through nettwerk's mail order dpt. > ...It might be some time before it > makes it to video, given, the subject matter and the potential > audience.... actually it's been released for probably close to a year now...can't remember exactly when but it was awhile ago. my high school was in that movie! take care!
