Bad news is the trees have already started to turn colour. Bye, bye Summer. Good news, 'Empire Hotel' is still going to be released on September 1st in Canada. Inconceivable! In preparation for the release I've been checking out the world of radio stations. I've noticed that some stations are cutting back on their 'request' programming. Seems odd considering most of the general public would like to hear their favourite songs on the radio. I'm hoping that the listener's ears are not being swayed in a singular corporate-funded direction. Anyway I'm thinking that now's the time to call your radio stations and put in your requests. The success of 'Empire Hotel' and touring depends largely on radio play so if you love our music, call your local radio station now. Not every station will listen but most still will. On our web site is a detailed list of Canadian stations that can play our music. (http://www.interlog.com/~waltons/radio.htm) Currently the song to request is 'Beats the Hell Out of Me' but after September 1st you can request any song you wish. Radio needs to know what you, the listener, wants to hear. The power is in your hands. thanks for your time and undying support, todd E - --------------64F6723F4D5F-- ------------------------------ End of canadian-music-digest V1 #54 ***********************************
