Where *is* everyone? ;-) Just wanted to say that James' subject line totally made me laugh but is right on the money. If you haven't heard 'Radiosonic' yet, do yourself a favor and tune in some weekend. It's always eclectic, informative, and entertaining, and definitely not your run-of-the-mill radio show. It was actually born out of the ashes of Vancouver-based RealTime (R.I.P.), which was much like Radiosonic is now, and Nightlines, which followed it. They combined both shows, and now both hosts, the very witty Leora Kornfeld and David Wisdom, and voila, Radiosonic was born. I have to say, I missed RealTime for quite a while, but Radiosonic has really come into its own over the past year or so. Hey, speaking of Radiosonic, did anyone happen to tape either Dayna Manning or Holly Cole's sessions from a few weeks ago? - - Tab :) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 07 Aug 1998 16:07:09 -0400 From: Steve I Subject: Steve's T.O. music picks Oops, I tried to send this out yesterday but I don't think this went out properly... From Sony Music Canada's "Buzzwords": <<...www.melaniedoane.com looks so good, you could eat it. Melanie is a Canadian singer/songwriter who made Billboard magazine's "Most Likely To Succeed: Talent Picks For '98" list. Her new site has of stuff to look at, click, read, and join. A biography written by Melanie, a list of her favourites, anything you could want to know about her new album 'Adam's Rib' two months before it's in stores, exclusive web site photos, a look into the studio, a mailing list, and we could go on ... The new site was designed with Melanie's input (the site scrolling sideways, the bright and bold colours, the photos, she even took care of the html coding - - just kidding!) Check out Melanie Doane's NEW web site at http://www.melaniedoane.com>> I have her 6-song EP, "Harvest Train" and her first album "Shakespearean Fish." She has an absolutely gorgeous voice......and writes some wonderful songs. Make sure to check out her new website! Looks like the new album, "Adam's Rib," will be out in October.
