Well, I'm wondering if there's anyone around yet who will be reading
this......I hope so!  And I hope you will all tell your music-lovin' internet
buddies about the new canadian-music list!

And eternal thank-yous to Andrea for starting up the new list and to Jeff
Wasilko for giving it a home at smoe.

Andrea and I were wondering about what members of this list should call
themselves.  You know -- like the FTE list people are *Fumblers*, the Jewel
list people are *EDAs*, etc.  So if anyone has an idea they'd like to share,
please chime in soon. ;-)

They're keeping a journal of their travels with Lilith Fair, similar to how
the Lilith Fair website does.  You can also enter a sweepstakes to win a
stereo and cds.....

The website also will be posting any in-store performances (Starbucks stores)
by LF artists.

No, no not dead, just kinda...in it's first day of existence, so posting
will be coming a little slow, thanks so far for everyone who's posted,
y'all rawk...earlier today, Jill :D posted some great links of her
favourite Canadian musicians/sites : )  Before the move to smoe, the list
had over 30 subscribers, it's grreat to see over a third of you already
subscribed to smoe!

BTW: I'm Andrea, the list owner who's learning this stuff by the good ol'
trial and error way so if you have any comments, suggestions, helpfuly
hints, etc. they're strongly encouraged...hey, advertising is great too! 
We all want more people to hop on this list, just to make it more diverse
and interesting : )
