I must say it was very exciting to see Joel up there on stage with 1000+ people watching, and in such an exquisite environment. We were in the nose-bleed section, but Joel somehow spotted us and waved exuberantly from the area next to the stage. It was pretty funny. Anyway, he was awesome and the whole show was awesome. I was sad that the Emcee didn't introduce Joel with "and now the grand prize winner of the prestigious John Lennon award for Folk musicians....", but Joel mentioned the award right before he played "No Peace in Dying", as well he should have! I was happy to see the Boston Globe review of the Sanders show, because I made the mistake of first reading the Sunday Herald review, in which the "startup acts" were obnoxiously brushed off without even mentioning any names!! Ridiculous, especially since one point of the concert was to show a progression from "startup" to "star". I was so irritated that I wrote the reviewer a (nice) letter and sent him a Joel CD (Nobody). I was only nice in the letter so he'd listen to the CD. I hope everyone is going to Feb 12 Passim, I'm bringing my camera to help Joel create the "media circus"!!
