So it was a really awesom awesom awesome concert. that's the first thing i can say about it... The room was pretty well full...which is good, makes me happy for Joel to have had such a strong presence... I sat at a table right by the foot of the stage...i could see Joel's hands shaking as he went to take a sip of his water... Jonathan Burak and I shared the table...it was a fun evening sititng with Jonathan, he's one cool man... Joel's set was great. There was this amazing sheer look of joy and happines and energy when he was sitting on that stage singing and playing for us all--it was so wonerful to see him in his element. Joel started the set with a cover of "Born To Run"...it sounded so beautiful and so amazing... i don't remember the set ilst, I should have written it down. It's hard for me to put that evening into words, it was just so magical--as if every posible element of the evening from Joel's person to his songs to the audience to the energy of Passim was just proffering passion... i have so much more to say but not the funnel nd focus of words right now to say it all...besides me and Jonathan, was anyone else there? Jonathan, want to tell us all what you thought? =) take care... cage-love, stephanie * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Stephanie Maria Kartalopoulos * The Greek Poet Chyck kartalst@hugse1.harvard.edu This is my prayer for you: May the moon protect you with honesty, caring, and gentility.
