Anyway, you guys, last night at the Knitting Factory in New York, Autour de Lucie our very favorite French band played a great little show as the headliners of "French Pop Night." My friend Marie Afonso, a Grammy who was formerly with the a capella samba group Zap Mama opened for them. Autour de Lucie did mostly stuff from their second full length record called "Immobile." It's one of those rare words that means the same thing in French as in English. Anyway, they are playing Fez Saturday night (also in New York) as well as a free show at Battery Park SUnday afternoon at 4 p.m. I encourage you to check it out.
