From what I understand of how the system works they have basically nothing to say in the choice of towns and venues: Nettwerk pays for the trip and the tour and chooses the dates. Of course, their goal is to have them play where they are best known, that means where they get airplay. KCRW really likes the band and plays them a lot so they are quite well known on the west coast and plays dates there. So, if you want to see them in a place near you, you have to promote them to the local radios it's as simple as that. :-) I am not bashing Nettwerk here, that's quite the contrary, I think they have done a tremendous job at promoting the band.
