Subject: OAC Nifty Eerie Music

Ok, I have recently discovered my favorite style of music is eerie stuff,
mostly piano/violin kinda stuff, all thanx to Uninvited. =)) Here is a list of
the songs (female singers) I can think of that are at least kinda eerie, the
ones w/*'s are the ones I think are the most eerie:

State of Mind (Merril Bainbridge)*
Oh Daddy (Tallulah)* aaggggh! I NEED info on her!
Walk This Earth Alone (Lauren Christy)*
Red (Tara MacLean) (that whispering scares me)

Firecrackers (Lisa Loeb)
Mystery Song (Holly McNarland)
Precious Things (Tori Amos)*
Iiiee (Tori Amos)
Girl (Tori Amos)* (those voices scare me as well)
Crucify (Tori Amos) (me fav Tori song ;o)

Yearbook (hehe, sorry, but yes.....Hanson)
Heaven Knows (The Corrs) (me fav Corrs song)

Would appreciate if you let me know names of songs that are of a similar
style, or even better, a singer/band that has mostly music of this style. I
know some of those songs it was stretching a little far to call them eerie,
but if I only put the really eerie ones, that list would be damn short. Oh,
and preferably female artists/fronted bands only. Thanx. Or if u want I guess
this could become a nifty thread. Sorry for the posting to so many lists but
I've had bad luck buying CD's lately. I bought Jen Trynin and That Dog today,
was rather disappointed; both gave me an extreme headache, maybe just cuz I
wasn't in the mood for that kinda music.
