Alright.  Lotsa news.  Here goes.  

Gig news:  Brenda has a show one week from today on Wednesday, March
25th at 10 pm at Fez (3rd & Lafayette, under Time Cafe - NYC-
212-533-7000).  This is her first show since leaving Shanachie
Entertainment.  That's right, Brenda is no longer on a record label so
all you A&R types please sit up and take notice (those of you non-A&R
types tell your freinds who are)!

Radio news:  In NYC, listen to Brenda live tomorrow morning at 11 am on
Delphine Blue's show on WBAI (99.5 on your fm dial).  There will be a
pair of tickets to the show given away to a lucky caller.

Web news:  Brenda has been added to the Rolling Stone web site.  Check
out http://www.rollingstone.com. Brenda's page is, of course, under 'K'.
We've also added new photo's and sound files on the web site. You really
should check it out at http://www.womanrock.com.

Finally, back to the Fez gig, playing with Brenda that evening (Wed,
3/25) are Peter Salett (solo) at 9 and Reverend Vince Anderson w/the
Love Choir at 8.  The Brenda Kahn Band includes Ernie Adzentiovich on
the upright bass, Vin Scialla on the drums and various other percussive
things and Brenda on guitars, vocals, beauty and piercing insight. 

Lastly, if you are not in NY you may or may not be interested in this
gig notice.  The same applies when Brenda plays in Iowa and the NY
people get these.  In an effort to make this process more efficient (and
at great pains to myself), I am asking that you respond to this message
and simply say "All"-for 'I want all messages' -OR- "CA, NY, MN, Germany
or whatever your state or country" and I'll update your e-mail address
file so as to only include you when it's relevant to your geographic
region.  Yes, I can do that. And I will do that for you, the loyal
fans-without whom I'd probably be watching The Simpson's right now (or
something).

Did she leave because:

(a) Shanachie didn't live up to its initial promise of producing "several"
records

(b) Shanachie didn't promote the album
