Anyway, I just joined the Brenda Kahn mailing list... my name is Mark Miazga, I'm 19, a student at Michigan State University. I first heard of Ms. Kahn in an article that compared Jewel to her, and this intrigued me and made me recognize Kahn's name in a used-cd box. It was "Epiphany in Brooklyn", and that cd now rests amongst my top five cd's that I own. That's quite a feat; I own 250 or so. Ms. Kahn is simply the best lyricist I have ever heard. "EiB" is a classic. "Destination Anywhere" is also excellent, though not as classic as "EiB". I currently have her first and fourth cd's coming in the mail. What does everyone think about her latest, the one that was just released yesterday? What style is it? Is it more EiB or DA? Mark - -- Mark A.
