I love everything she does and will always continue to buy her albums but I think Brenda is at her best when she combines folk with folk with nail-spitting rock-n-roll emotion as in "Mojave Winters" or with deep soul in "Winchester Chimes." I just didn't think that folk side showed itself quite enough on "Destination." I want Brenda to grow musically and of course her songs are only hers but I was first turned on to Brenda when I heard "If Red were Blue" and I became a rabid fan when I heard "In Indiana" and I sometimes I miss that crazy folk flair that I really think only she has. thanks, shay ------------------------------ End of bklist-digest V1 #10 ***************************
