Wells" Subject: Anyone have a recording of Susan's Piano Jazz appearance? Hey everyone... Just wondering if anyone out there has a recording of Susan's Piano Jazz appearance. I wasn't able to catch it, and I've listened to the excerpts on Susan's website, but they cut out the middle of like, ALL the songs! I want to hear the songs as much as I want to hear the dialogue!! I'd love to hear the show in its entirety. I couldn't find any archived show, even streaming audio, on the NPR site, so I emailed the Piano Jazz people and asked about it (incidentally, Piano Jazz is produced by my home state's NPR station... S.C. educational radio, where I actually worked one summer during college). I would have bought a CD of the show, but they don't sell them and they don't have archives on their website, so... can anyone help me out??? A Google search reveals that, when she played at the Blue Note in NY a few months ago, Betty was performing "Man I Used To Love" in her act. And for bonus points... Betty's pianist/bandleader is named KENNY Werner. :) - -Tim (who loves Betty's version of Mary Chapin Carpenter's "Come On Come On") HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ End of believers-digest V10 #67 ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- -------------------------- This has been a posting from the Susan Werner believers-digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe believers-digest" in the body of the message
