It may be worth mentioning that Atlantic Records signed both Mel Torme and Twisted Sister.  Once again, we have, on one hand, an incredible talent that put forth some timeless music that will last much longer than its creator, music that will doubtlessly influence the music world for as long as the music world is around, and, on the other hand, we have Mel.
