Found it a couple of years ago & didn't send it to this list because it seemed to me like invading privacy, but as long as the box is opened: http://www.leadingauthorities.com/search/biography.htm?s=4055 http://www.leadingauthorities.com/ram/NewWerner.ram Carolyn Andre candre@house-of-music.com HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 Jan 2003 06:08:50 -0800 From: "Ron Rosen" Subject: Re: david werner > Is this the same david werner who is a comedian, but > also a lawyer and does charity work for the american > diabetes association? Now he is a comedian who, I believe, does a lot of corporate gigs. Before he began his non-lawyer career, I believe he was a lawyer with the SEC and with a law firm. The first time I saw Susan she mentioned that her brother was a lawyer who had become a comedian. I applauded. She said, ''I see we have a comedian in the audience.'' I said, ''No, we have a lawyer who wishes he was a comedian.'' Here's something about David: http://www.leadingauthorities.com/search/biography.htm?s=4055 Susan wrote a song about her brother: My brother Benny was a big time lawyer A beautiful man in a Brooks Brothers suit One day Benny throws his briefcase out the window And he sold his car and bought a silver-plated flute and says It's so heavy when you're holding up the ceiling Ain't it lighter when you let the thing fall Ain't it better having something you believe in And ain't it heaven when you're never holding back at all HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 Jan 2003 09:39:07 EST From: PBCoustic@aol.com Subject: Re: holy crap In a message dated 1/26/2003 7:12:29 PM Central Standard Time, ImSerius2 writes: > I had no idea the epithet 'holy crap' was common on "Everybody Loves > Raymond". > > It's Ray's father (Peter Boyle)'s signature tag line.... often uttered in quite hilarious references... I never watched this show in prime time, but now that it's syndicated I sometimes watch it. It can be funny, but I find it slightly strange because it's so negative. Most sit coms have a postive and negative side, but ELR seems to focus on the dysfunctional family without any let up.
