Susan did a few new songs last night. Three-Quarter Moon really is a great song. Let's Regret this In Advance, a piano song done on guitar. And a brand-new song which is about a woman Puttin' on her Red Dress. It's a blues song, with a straight blues pattern, taking off from High-Heeled Sneakers. For this one she said, ''For this song I'd like to invite my friend Kevin up here to accompany me on harmonica.'' From Kevin in the back of the audience, ''Really?'' Kevin seemed genuinely surprised. ''Really?'' So up comes Kevin seeming very caught off-guard. I knew who Kevin was because he was also sitting behind me in the audience last March and I had asked someone, but I don't know that most of the audience last night knew him. Kevin played some awesome licks on his harmonica, while Susan on the guitar gave him some room. Afterwards she said, ''Thanks, Kevin.'' As Susan said after the show, "He's just a killer.''
