I enjoyed the article. Acknowledging that this is not a list for women, feminists and/or lesbians exclusively, but recognizing the facts stated in the article, I'd like to propose a topic of discussion about which I can be emailed off-list. If there is enough interest, we might be able to set up a chatroom somewhere for group discussion. The topic: Is women's sexuality less concrete then men's? (I wanted to ask if it was more "efflusive," meaning, at least to me, ever-changing, but I couldn't find the word in the dictionary, which leads me to wonder if I made it up...) I've known several women, both personally and in literature and film, who have had partners of both genders, yet I know very few men of whom this is true... even of those who claim to be bisexual. I'd like to hear from believers (off-list) with your opinions on this subject, please. And for those of you who would have preferred that I present this topic off-list, I apologize, and I thank you for your indulgence. Peace, Chuck "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." Chuck: I see no reason why this topic should be off list. I don't know if the words you're looking for are right, but I think it's clear that more women seem to be bi-sexual and experimental in that regard than men. Virtually no men who don't think of themselves as gay would "experiment" with bisexuality, but many women can and do. I think the reasons are both social and biological. Biological in the sense that women seem more comfortable with sexuality of all types, and social because there is a much greater taboo against male homosexuality than against lesbianism.
