Especially those who went to friday, saturday AND sunday night. It would be cool to hear if anything was different sunday evening. Also, Thought I'd share a very moderately music related story from my weekend trip to Philadelphia. On saturday morning after attempting to see some of the City Hall building underneath all the scaffolding covering it we were walking by a large Tower Records store in downtown Philadelphia. Outside was a very long line made up of mostly middle aged guys and twenty something girls in tight clothing. Curiousity overcame me and I asked one of the men what was at the end of the line and he said "Jimmy Buffet Britney Spears tickets" to which I replied "That's quite a double bill" He corrected me to say that there were tickets for either or of the performers at the end. I ended with "Oh well... Ooh Baby One more Time in Margaritaville would have been a cool duet for the two of them".... To which I got one of the 'girls' (older than me, but dressed from the juniors department) rolled her eyes back into her head... Perhaps I had insulted her goddess britney or something! Is there anyone you all would stand out in line early morning on a saturday to buy tickets for? Or better yet, what folk musician would you like to see sing a duet with Britney? Hey, how's that for a story about nothing? I've got more unless someone posts something more entertaining (yup, its a threat AND a promise) ~sll Simona L. After recently viewing and listening to her performance on the Peter, Paul and Mary videotape, I thought, "Wouldn't it be great to experience Susan performing with a broad spectrum of artists like Johnny Cash, The Indigo Girls, k.d. lang, Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, Tracy Chapman, Bobby McFerrin, Clint Black, Placido Domingo, the wonderful guitarist Jesse Cook, UB40 (are they still performing?), Ladysmith Black Mambazo (same question) and the spectacular Oleta Adams? That's a portion of my wish list. Who's on yours? Peace, Chuck Ellingson P.S. I'm hearing another duet in my imaginary mind: Susan Werner and Kellie Lin Knott. Boy can they harmonize!!! That's actually the best of the Dylan-Cash sessions from 1969. But those two working together could have been predicted. I know plenty of fellow Dylan fans who refused the believe the Brian Wilson duet until I sent them copies. Anyway, since this is Susan Werner's group, how about Susan with ..... er, Back Sabbath ?
