The setlists for both were pretty much the same. I will just give the one for the first show since I got lazy wtih show number two: stationary, shades of grey, blue guitar, yellow house, petaluma afternoons, sorry about jesus, courting the muse, st. mary's of regret, misery, all of the above, everybody's talking, barbed wire boys, big car piano set: you're a dream, cole porter, philanthropy, no one needs to know, light sleeper, much at all, so nice seeing you again, stay on your side of town, can't be new encore: standing in my own way, may i suggest for those seven or eight folks who wrote me and said that they couldn't believe I wear almost only black after seeing my email last week. I would just like to say that the performer also wore all black. so :-P Susan was certainly funny as usual. My fave banter comment was the intro to blue guitar. She annouced that she had read in USA today that Thomas Kinkade (known as the "painter of light" and who hawks his art on qvc quite regularly) was quoted as saying "Picasso was very talented, but he never did anything significant with his talent" ..... There was a plea for anyone who does own a thomas kinkade print to go out and buy a picasso print (perhaps the blue guitar one) and hang it on your wall to just even out the artistic karma of your house. Susan also introduced courting the muse wtih a story about when she sent it to the record producer to listen to he called back and said "i love this song about your cat" to which she replied "listen to it again" he called back "i love this song about your girlfriend" she said "listen to it again" and then he called back and said "oh, the title is on the cassette... i get it". (this is where a drum beat would come in handy) that's all folks, sll Simona L.
