Yeep! He sure did ... looking at http://www.cartalk.com, it's listed as having been played in show # 0209. That show is online at the site, but I think they just put up the segments themselves without the music, due to copyright issues. You'll have to find out when your local NPR station is re-running it. Some stations run each week's episode twice in the weekend (for example, Connecticut Public Radio plays it at 10 am both Saturday and Sunday), and others re-run last week's episode as well as the current one. We'll be sure to tune in tomorrow morning. :) ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ======================================= (: New England Patriots - Super Bowl XXXVI CHAMPIONS :) HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 2 Mar 2002 10:43:53 -0800 From: "Ron Rosen" Subject: Re: random ramblings > Goin' out to see a guy named Kevin So tonight, a wonderfaul > singer/songwriter with great guitar chops and a unique perpective on folk > music. Very funny, very poignant, and a really nice man. Catch him if > he's near you. You won't be hearing him on commercial radio, for sure. Yeah, I liked Kevin So a lot at Falcon Ridge. I think he was in the comedy workshop with Susan. At dinner a couple hours ago, I was reminiscing with my daughter, and explained the early 1950s payola scandals to her. Dick Clark got his Bandstand job in Philadelphia as a result of payola (he replaced a guy who got fired over it), and I distinctly remember the day (weekday, after school) that he mentioned his show would become American Bandstand and move onto the network. Just shows you how old my daughter's dad is!
