Not sure if that version has has different packaging from the one I got at a show in November, but they were out there for sale. For that matter all they had was green world (dar wiliams) and didn't even have catie curtis or lucy kaplasnky or greg brown or the nields or any other folky type music! (maybe it depends on the size and location of the store) and here's a question for the music business savvy folks out there. Is a distribution company all that different from a record label? considering that few of the smaller independent artists get any promotion at all from their record companies then aren't record companies for them no more than distribution companies that make them sign multiple record label contracts? I do know certain folks like dar williams get a lot of promotion by their record companies, but if it wasn't for word of mouth and falcon ridge I know I would have never heard of any other artists like vance gilbert or dave carter/tracy grammer or even the nields. i don't want to start an argument about record companies and managment or anything, just incredibley curious about how this all works! ~simona Loris1127@aol.com wrote: Here in NH, NNF was available in Best Buy stores around New Years.
