Go to www.telecharge.com and click on "Off-Broadway." One question: what's with that warning, "May be inappropriate for ages 17 and under"? Oh, and I haven't seen any advertising yet for Susan's show at the Media Theater, which is only three weeks away. Anyone know how to get tix? - -Tim HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Jan 2002 10:04:33 -0500 From: "tony'a lemos" Subject: this week hey all, this week i am listening too................. Avalon Blues A tribute to the music of Mississippi John Hurt The songs of Pete Seeger Vol 11 Holly Cole Temptation Gillian Welch Revival Gillian Welch Time (the reveator) Dolly Parton Little Sparrow Lila Downs Border/La LInea and my of course my two fav radio shows women of note w/fern and back porch w/ jimmy olson on both on wrsi hard to answer the all time fav suze songs..........i have to say that i remember the first time i heard "some other town" following the original version of "last of the good straight girls" (as on live at the tin angel) i was chilled. . . i think that "some other town" is sadly underplayed!! my mothers garden is another all time fav. Yeah, i do not remember who mentioned "much at all" but when susan first started singing that one the emotion involved in it was so intense, you could just feel the pain. there are so many songs i think of that have touched so many parts of me since i first heard susan opening for arlo guthrie at the iron horse (1993- i think) most recently it 's "blue guitar" was any one else at that show??? and i have to mention "yellow house" i so so so like that song!............and "he great outthere" so many good songs- i like the arrangement on midwestern sat night with the drum interlude. the album that i like least and felt disappointed with was "Last Of The Good Straight Girls", it felt too produced for me and electronic sounding, although individually i like many of the songs but put it all together and it looses it for me, not a fan of "bring'round the boat either". that is enough from me this sat morning take care everyone t _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Jan 2002 10:08:35 -0500 From: "tony'a lemos" Subject: ps ps i guess i am just another s.werner myrmidon! _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Jan 2002 07:35:08 -0800 From: "Ron Rosen" Subject: Re: Susan "Off-Broadway" > Oh, and I haven't seen any advertising yet for Susan's show at the Media > Theater, which is only three weeks away.
