BUT, i have always thought it was an odd song. ("going where the weather suits my clothes," now what kind of clothes are those?) i have performed this tune plenty through the years, and it has never failed to captivate me as i progress through the song. i never heard Susan do this one (and i never saw Nilsson, ...sigh). but this recording is so different form the rest of the songs on the disc that i think i deserves some more attention. why did she make the recording? why are there all the layers of voices? the lead vocal track sounds (to me) like it's tearing out through a layer of gauze, and there are all of these voices echoing in her head. Susan didn't put some other songs on this disc, but she included Everybody's Talkin'. why? is this a song about running away from social demands, from the expectations of all those people talkin' at me? hmm, and here's this disc without a major release... just an observation, john live from oregon HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Nov 2001 20:25:01 EST From: Ronaathome@aol.com Subject: New CD Hi everyone!
