Hi there, This is an official beg on my knees to get entries for the scrapbook email. more will come until I get enough to put together a decent looking book. This is like a fundraising drive on your local public radio station. Basically until I get enough respondents I will talk and talk and talk... well you get the idea. So far I have gotten some absolutely lovely letters from people. None of them are gushy or corny, no marriage proposals yet. Very subdued and show their appreciation for Ms. Werner's lovely music. I talked to Kristen Marshall off of the lucy list who put togehter a similar scrapbook for lucy on the release of Every single day. Kristen had letters from fans as well as from other folk musiicans. I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate any input from other's on the list who know in any capacity other musicians who might contribute to this with a letter. I am thinking of emailing the management of folks like dar, vance gilbert, jian, mary gaultier, ellis paul, joan armatrading, and anyone else who might be friendly with or have a long working relationship with SW. I also plan to try and contact the writer who wrote "Good in Bed" which features SW ... this might be fun! But, I really truly need at least thirty to fifty entries minimum from fans otherwise it's not totally worth it b/c it will defeat the whole purpose. Its not stalkerish, or obsessive to put a short letter (or a long one) into this book. I talked to Mr. Jian Ghomeshi just last night on this topic for a minute and he said that she would be totally bowled over by this and appreciate it. So please help me out guys! luv, Simona Simona L. This may be a stupid question/request etc... But how about if there was some mention on the case of the existence of a list serv is mentioned? I know that management is probably unhappy with recent strings... if they read the list at all. But, I know other artists have printed the subscirption email for list servs dedicated to them on the packaging of their CDs.... I would email SW's agent, but perhaps it would better come from someone on the list who is more in the know or has some sort of relationship with SWs camp (charlie perhhaps? since you are our list mom) BTW... I think i may have Christine Lavin on board for an entry into the scrap book... i'm not sure yet, but I am very optimistic... I also discovered that SW's inspiration (or one of them) Shirley Horn is still alive ... and I know someone who performed with her in the past who is going to try and find some contact info for me.
