Does anybody have ticketing information for any/all of these shows? I just realised that I'd better finalise my plans soon, because it's almost October already - yipes. Thanks, sherlyn ps - also upcoming of interest in Seattle are: Lynn Miles this Saturday night; Dar Williams on October 18; Peter Mulvey on October 17; Christine Lavin on October 8, and Lucy Kaplansky on October 18. I checked out the playlists from that week and it looks like the most frequently played song was Jane Siberry's "Calling All Angels". Appropriate. I just got back from a concert in NYC (Susan McKeown at Fez, where Susan Werner has played before), and halfway through something happened that I know I'll never forget: three firefighters whom Susan M. had personally invited to the show (she donated $3 from each ticket to the fund for the families of the 10 men lost from the firehouse closest to Fez) came in, and the minute people saw them in the door they started applauding and cheering. The room gave them a standing ovation that lasted well over a minute. It gave me chills. It's sad that it takes a tragedy such as this to remind people that firefighters are heroes every day of their lives.
