Well, your mail isn't bouncing. Susan's manager is keeping the info close to the chest right now. There are negotiations going on that could delay the official release. Or it could happen as stated above. My best info says middle of October, which would be about right. As soon as an official announcement is available, I'll tell the world :-) Charlie Sweeney (=}===# Virtual Guitarist-Something Black http://somethingblack.com http://susanwerner.com http://karensavoca.com http;//xfsmusic.org HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2001 20:09:47 -0400 From: Steve Murphy Subject: Re: New album "May I Suggest" will be on it. That's all I need! And to think it wasn't originally planned. Just added as a final track as an afterthought based on discussions on this list! POWER!!!! Well, it'd be nice to see one of the following there too; Misery (maybe), First World Woman (probably not but I can dream), Beautiful Chains of Love, Shot Tower? Can't wait! It seems that every artist has at least one song that has taken on greater meaning in light of this tragedy. It sure has been fascinating reading - Ellis Paul's 'Angel in Manhattan' being played daily on WFUV...Eddie From Ohio in NYC bringing the audience to total silence with 'Oh My Brother'...John Gorka's 'Let Them In'...David Wilcox, 'Show the Way'...and Susan's May I Suggest'. Hearing it for the first time Saturday night was a very powerful experience for me, and I think its positive, hopeful message is even more important right now. There is a faith That's been expressed in you The faith of seven generations, maybe more And this is the faith That they invest in you Is that you'll do one better than was done before Inside you know Inside you understand Inside you know what's yours to finally set right And I suggest And I suggest to you And I suggest this is the best part of your life And yes, Susan really did say the new CD would be out in 2 weeks, and she said that 'May I Suggest' is the final cut. It is indeed a very powerful and relevant song, on a really really good album. I picked it up at Falcon Ridge last summer, after Janis completely blew me away with her performance. ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth "an eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind" -- mahatma gandhi ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ End of believers-digest V5 #180 ******************************* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- This has been a posting from the Susan Werner believers-digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe believers-digest" in the body of the message
