By now all subscribers to tree #1 (the 8/13/99 show) should have received their discs. If you have not, please write to us with as much information as possible and we will investigate. It has come to our attention that the discs some of you received might be flawed by improper duplication somewhere along the line. The originals play continuously through each set, as if you were there at the event If your discs have audible abrupt 2-second gaps between tracks, they are defective!. Other flaws could include discs that have a "tearing" sound, or loud pops or ticks (similar to LP record scratches). Please contact us if you think yours have problems and we will work out a solution. We have learned a great deal running this 'tree' and have developed some new strategies which will make the subsequent trees trouble-free and even more enjoyable. There is only one way to 'pay back' for the music all of you now have, and that is by sharing it further. We strongly encourage anyone who can properly duplicate CDs, especially branch volunteers who ended up as leaves, to post to the list B&P or trade offers, assuming that your discs are complete and correct (as above). There are several folks who missed out on the tree, some through no fault of their own, who would be delighted to accept.
