One of the things I like best about Susan's lyrics is the way she can make 
you "be there" in whatever piece of time/place she is singing about.  
Petaluma is a good example of this, as is Bonsai and Bad President. (lots of 
others, but those are my favorties)  Without lines and lines of descriptive 
adjectives, she makes whatever she is singing about real in a way few 
songwriters can.
