Some of you may remember that, at the Ark's annual fundraiser last fall, Susan was a featured performer in their 'Ark d'Triomphe' (sp?) theme, and did an entire set in French. Dave said it was marvelous - the tickets were over $100 and I just couldn't swing it, but I would have loved to have been there. Anyway - I talked to him again last Saturday, at the Eddie From Ohio show, and he confirmed something he'd hinted at previously - that Susan will again be one of the featured performers at the fall 2001 fundraiser, only this year's theme will be German. So if you've ever wanted to see Susan in a slightly different setting/style, put November 2001 on your calendars and make the road trip - and start saving $ now for the ticket! Suzie T. I saw 3 Song Circus at The Point. woj and I are hoping to see this show on Saturday in Providence, though I don't have high hopes because it's Erin's hometown and school is in session. The only way to get tickets in advance is through Ticketslime, which I have been boycotting since 1993. Hopefully we'll get lucky and someone in line will have an extra couple of tickets... (unless some other Believer out there is from Providence and is also planning on going to the show and could pick us up some tix? 8) >I really liked Jian. He has great stage presence and good songs. I'm somewhat flabbergasted by that assessment. Erin McKeown is one of the most exciting things to happen to music in years. Maybe she was having an off night? ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ End of believers-digest V5 #54 ****************************** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- This has been a posting from the Susan Werner believers-digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe believers-digest" in the body of the message
