Her bio on her Web site gives me something to start with, but a reporter may want to contact her ahead of time. Who can tell me how a reporter may contact Susan for an interview between now and April 27? Totally would have embarrassed my 11y/o (who came with me) had I actually _written down_ pieces performed so I dutifully committed them to memory. Ok, so that was a mistake. In no particular order - Misery Standing in My Own Way um um um Like Bonsai ( <---makes me cry every time) Tall Drink (and another piano piece, can't recall the name) All of the Above (this was encore) Sorry About Jesus errrrrr Shade of Gray She was great; easy and fluid on the vocal cords, warm and effervescent with the crowd. Fierce and then suddenly so gentle with her instruments. aaahhhh I was not familiar with Willy - wowza. That boy can play a geetar. He's apparently a local lad, from Milwaukee, I believe. (I am old and feeble and will be happy to stand corrected if I'm wrong though). He and Suze played a couple o'bits together. Marvelous, the two of them playing (in all aspects) together. Anyone else able to fill in my blanks? [and just a motherly sidenote: my son - who for which Hootie and Eminem have been the epitome of musical talent for a time now, has tonight announced he believes there is, in fact, other music that might be *better*. Praise the goddesses for him thinking Susan and Willy were hot shit. note to self: take him to more live performances like this. end note.] Beth ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` ~ ` The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are transformed. - Jung HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at World Cafe CDs http://worldcafecds.com ------------------------------ End of believers-digest V5 #50 ****************************** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- This has been a posting from the Susan Werner believers-digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe believers-digest" in the body of the message
