I do not have your mail requesting leaf status; please send it again. It is impractical to acknowledge each mail that I receive, but in your case I will. There will be a posting to the list on this subject soon. Some mail programs allow the sender to request a receipt on delivery. You might want to explore this possibility. I did as instructed and sent a blank email to the address given to be a "leaf" for this tree, but I don't fully trust my email server (it hasn't proven itself totally infallible :) I want to make sure I'm included, but I'm sure you don't want me to send multiple blank emails as insurance, LOL! > > > Visit My Home Page! > Yahoo! She seems to be gearing up for the new album (to be recorded this May in Nashville...and in her own words, "it won't suck!") by pulling out the best of her new songs and liberally dousing the set with them. Well, best at least by my own tastes - which of course made me extremely happy. I showed up just as Lori McKenna was wrapping up her opening set and found the Horse packed. The table where I was seated was partially obstructed by a pillar, but i leaned around it; there was a table for two reserved in front of me that i desperately wanted. I saw jane talk to the hostess and explain that the person for whom she had reserved the table was going to be a little late, and then, who should walk in, but Martin Sexton. I was hoping that Susan would pull out "I'm In Love Again" with her ad-libbing impersonations for an encore and get Martin up on stage with her, but I had to settle for their version of "Help!" Not that I'm complaining :) This may have been my last Susan show on the east coast for a while (she does have a show in Needham at the end of April that I might not be able to make). I hope it isn't, but if it is, then it was a great way to end my mostly New-England love affair with susan ;) side note: i found it strange to see TWO whole other asian guys at the show. so very strange. then again, noho is a breeding ground for strangeness. And, no, i wasn't looking in two different mirrors at the same time.
