Anyway, she sang a bunch of new songs that night that I have not heard her sing in the two times I've seen her since. One was about moving to the same town of her new love - something like being just a couple of blocks away (and no I'm not thinking of the Lucinda Williams song). Does anyone remember this song? Does it have anything to do with her move to Chicago? Is there anything weird about the fact that Ferron moves to Philadelphia and Susan leaves? "love down the street" >Does anyone remember this song? Kris >> Well, Susan had "taken me to the back room" (woohoo!) to demonstrate some chord fingerings after her midday FUMC show back in February, and Jane had parked the car in front of the church to load up after the show. We were in the middle of trading some progressions, and Jane came in, (and I paraphrase), "Got a GOD DAMNED parking ticket!! Do you believe this????" I laughed out loud, which I don't think she appreciated, but then suggested that the give it to the church minister/secretary and they'd probably handle it... but I don't know what finally happened...
