This is not unheard of but Susan seems to always have these improvements in the back of her mind. In this sense, artists who cook up a song during or just before recording an album seem to be at a disadvantage in that they can't "play it out" in front of audiences ahead of time. Jonatha Brooke's At the Still Point still messes with me every time I hear the original CD; a day by your side switches with a month in the country. But even playing it out for years is not foolproof: anybody else pick up the subtle yet significant change in TBT in the last few months?, our protagonist seems to have more modesty these days ;-) No time to transcribe ST now but hopefully over break, I have a few setlists and lyrics to put out here. Sherlyn K, we need to hook up! Frustratingly, it looks like I will be missing out on the Framingham show since I will be back in the midwest for a month over break. But I just checked out the new dates and am soothed that she will be back at the Iron Horse on 3-16, Mt. Kisko 3-17, Needham 4-28, New Bedford 6-1, Londonderry 6-2, Club Passim 6-3...whew!! she's not forgetting us on the east coast now that she lives in Chicago. Oh yeah, and I -was- looking for an excuse to visit a friend in Denver (4 SW shows at the end of Feb). anyone care to comment on the Winterfolk Music Festival in Pagosa Springs?? Since I am posting, and seemingly full of questions, I'm searching for info on Susan's performance at Amherst College on Sept. 27, 1996 (in the Front Room?) I have good reason to believe this was broadcast, maybe live on FM--(WRSI?)--and would love to hear from anyone who was there or who taped it off the air, if this was the case.
