I too totally love that song. I have realized recently that there are three Susan songs that are my absolute most beloved. All unrecorded. Shot Tower, First World Woman, and Misery/Happiness. I expect to find all three of them on #5 (wearing my football shirt right now - wear it to work often - people are starting to call me Susan). She's kicking off another series in Framingham, and guess who the first performer in the series is? That's right - our gal, Susan Werner! That's on Saturday, January 6th at 8 p.m. in Framingham (further details below). This show will be Sally's first endeavor at a lovely venue in Framingham, and she's a little nervous about it. The venue seats 400 - and because Sally has never produced there before, she's wondering if the crowds will make it out. That's where YOU guys come in! If you're anywhere near this show, please come on out and bring all of your relatives, co-workers and bosom buddies to support both Sally and Susan in this. It's gonna be a great time!!! 1/6/01 Sally Johnson Presents Framingham Civic League Framingham MA 508-366-6258 8 PM folksally@aol.com To get your tickets ($15 in advance) now, and save Sally lots of worrying, write your check to Sally Johnson Presents and send it with a self addressed stamped envelope to 16 Mt. Pleasant St. Westboro MA 01581. You can also visit Sally's website to learn more about the music she's planning to bring to you in future (including Susan's good pal, Ellis Paul) at: www.fusf.org/folksally I'll be in town for the show, (flying in from MN for a visit), and would love to see some familiar (and not so familiar) faces there. I'm gonna have a group of at least 15 buddies with me...maybe we can get a competition going among us believer's to see who can pull in the largest group of potential new susiewerner followers for the show. Whadda ya think? Anyone wanna try and take me?! =) George? Steve? To make this an even more exciting possibility, if there is interest, I'd be willing to coordinate a pre-show get together in the area for attending believer's and their guests. Send me a note if you might want to participate in that...I will also coordinate rides for those of you in the Boston area in need of transportation. You drivers can contact me and let me know if you've got space, and you drivees contact me too, so we can get ya there! In addition, I'm volunteering to help Sally spread the word about this show, and if any of you can recommend any publicity leads/contacts that might be helpful, I'd be ever so grateful. Know of any websites that have event listings, or folk related newsletters in the area that might do a feature or include a listing? Know of a venue that might be willing to share a mailing list with Sally? Also - for you OUT OF TOWNERS - you can help too, by referring your EAST COAST pals to this show and convincing them they MUST attend. Support local music presenters! Sally's putting in lots of hard work to bring ya'll good music. Let's make sure she knows how much we appreciate it! Thanks, you guys, for any help you can offer in filling those seats! ____________________________________________________ Kellie Lin Knott klknott@earthlink.net Phone/Fax: 651-633-0857 HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at songs.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Dec 2000 22:24:33 -0600 From: "Kellie Lin Knott" Subject: framingham again Hey, You MA people - Framingham is what, 45 minutes outside of Boston? I know the commuter rail goes there - but due to timing, doesn't have any trains going inbound on a Saturday night after 8 p.m. or so... ____________________________________________________ Kellie Lin Knott klknott@earthlink.net Phone/Fax: 651-633-0857 HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at songs.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Dec 2000 23:36:38 -0500 From: meredith Subject: Re: framingham again Hi!
