BTW, for those of you who can come to Philly for the 1-17-01 show, the Painted Bride has a Steinway Grand Piano. Would she treat us to that much piano again?? >> I would say chances are good. She premiered this "song cycle" at 4 Corners in NH in Sept, and it seems to have become a staple. She also mentioned that the thinking was that from here on in the albums would become "theme" style, instead of "a little of everything" across her broad range. The next one - not the one that is already recorded, but the next one - should be the jazzy piano stuff. She mentioned as possible future "themes": more straight country-ish stuff; maybe topical "folky" songs; etc. BTW, any NH Cheryl Wheeler fans going to 4 Corners next week?
