My Mother's Garden Barbie in pajamas of Packers and Bears?) Besides, it was too funny not to pass along. Saturday 6/24 OK, so I don't post very often here, but I just had to ask if anyone else was at the show on Saturday night in Bedford Mass? What was up with the crowd? I think the auditorium seated 200 or so and I was lucky if I counted 100 people!!! I thought the Greater Boston area was a hotbed for Susan believers?? Where was everyone?? (I felt like buying more tickets just for support!) Well anyway, I really enjoyed it, (even if I did have to go it alone this time without my sweetie, which up until this show we had been able to share our Susan experiences together for the past two years) Now I'm not sure if it was the acoustics in the hall or if Susan was especially "on" this night, but she absolutely sounded like an Angel and covered a lot of new material which made it that much more enjoyable for me! Her set was extra long (almost 2 hrs) without an intermission and for a good portion of her performance she wore a red bandana over head because it was a bit warmer than she had expected! The show opened with a folky, gruffy, Allaister Mook? (hope I got that right) who was very entertaining himself and admittedly had never heard Susan before! One of the highlights for me was watching the reaction of him and especially his girlfriends smiling face at Susan's wit, humor and talent and you could just tell that she was hooked from that moment on, like has happened to many others of us! Although dissapointed that more people did not come out to enjoy her show, I was and am thankful that Susan takes the time to frequent this area a lot, because we all know, there's nothing like a live Susan Werner show!!!! She can listen to it in her mini-van or Miata. Great list, Laura. Thanks for sharing.
