Kaskela" Subject: SW @ Second Stage, Whitaker Center Hi All- Just got in from the SW show at the Second Stage, The Whitaker Center, Harrisburg, Pa. The show was put on by Jim Holly, formerly of The (now defunct) Wire in New Cumberland, a mid state venue for previous SW shows. Because of the new location the turnout, about 70-80 people, was lower than in previous years. However with upcoming shows by Bill Miller, Richard Shindell, and others this venue is sure to grow in popularity. And it's a great place to see a show! A nice intimate room for between 100-125, liquor sales and a Steinway grand piano... and Susan loves the real thing!! Here's the setlists- 1st set Do You Trip on Love (by Tom Kimmel) Time Between Trains Last of the Good Straight Girls Shot Tower (which always seems to leave people too stunned for immediate applause) Vagabond Mouth First World Woman Sorry About Jesus Jesus Christ, Ain't I Lonely Tonight Maybe If I Sang Cole Porter (on piano, of course!) 2nd set The Perigee Blue Guitar Like Bonsai Dow Re Mi (then three more songs on piano) Tall Drink of Water (with a NICE 'Summertime' intro!) No One Needs To Know If You Love Me (Edith Piaff- what a treat!!) Misery/ Happiness Standing In My Own Way Encores Much At All (on piano) All of the Above, None of the Below What a great night! She just keeps getting better (and better and better!!) And "Dat's All Folks!"
