For some reason I'm very uneasy about not being able to buy tickets in advance. This is my one chance to see Susan for the year and I CAN'T miss her! Plus, I'm finally going to be able to bring my boyfriend along who's listened to me go on and on about Susan since the day we met. I am dying to hear all the new songs like "Perigee" or whatever she may do -- it's been so long for me there are bound to be things I've never heard. Anyway, the venue told me to just show up an hour before the show, but I have half a mind to get there a few hours ahead with a good book and to just squat until those tickets are in my hot little hands. Just needed to vent that. And I also would like to say for the record that I am thrilled to see that Charlie used the word "tsouris." I once had a lengthy debate about the meaning of this word and I am glad to see it in use! I still believe, Margaret HELP! owner-believers@smoe.org Send mail to believers@smoe.org Susan's CD's are available on your desktop at songs.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Jan 2000 19:23:25 -0800 From: "Susan Krauss" Subject: RE: Christine Lavin at Northridge >Leslie Dreyer Kalra admitted: > I can't imagine there are two movies with almost the same title, so may I > venture a guess that this is actually "Cannibal Women in the Avocado > Jungle of Death"? This one starred Adrienne Barbeau, though I can't recall > the token men in the cast. I've actually seen it (my sister-in-law and I > used to enjoy watching bad late-night movies, back when I had a life). I've seen it too. My brother found it in the "camp" section of the video store. I love it - think it's very funny if you take it the right way. It was Bill Mahar in the cast.
