In the liner notes, all the artists make their testimonial to Christine, and Susan says something about the song containing chord progressions banned in Iowa. All of Christine Lavin compliation CDs are worthy of investigation on your parts, especially her newest, 'the stealth project - musicundertheradar'. And on a non-Christine, note, Susan has a live version of 'Maybe if I Sang Cole Porter' on 'Live from Iron Horse'. Sigh - Susan singing 'A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square'? Will this torture never stop? She simply must do a collection of old standards. I am content to wait however long it takes to get my pin; I just would have appreciated updates from time to time, as would some of the others, I think. You ARE doing a good thing for all Believers out there; I don't think anyone disputes that. As for the on-list comments of other folks, I can't speak for their frustrations and the comments that resulted therof; I can only speak for myself. I have made some good friends on this list, and would not want to jeopardize those friendships by trying to make excuses for anyone's interpretation of anyone's comments. You are abolutely right. The way the story goes is this... the "working title" of the movie was "Pirhana women..." but they later changed the name to "Cannibal women...". But Christine liked the sound of "Pirhana women..." better so, since the song really has nothing at all to do with the movie, she used that instead. Here's a link to the IMDB entry on "Cannibal Woman of the Avacado Jungle of Death".
